Education and Training for Financial Analyst
To be a financial analyst, a bachelor's or graduate degree is required, not only in Norway Accountants. Most companies within the Norway Accountants need a bachelor’s degree in associated field, like finance, business, accounting, statistics, or economics. Knowledge and understanding of economics, statistics and business related issues is vital for this field along with the fundamental accounting policies and corporate budgeting. More than often a master’s degree or an MBA (Master’s in Business Administration) is required.

License
The main licensing organisation for such profession is the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FIRNA). However, different licenses may be required depending on the person’s work. A sponsorship is required for most of these licenses by an employer; therefore, companies sponsor individuals for these licences as they know that is impossible to have this licence before the actual job. Furthermore, professional employees who already have their licence they need to renewed their licence as soon as they change job with the new company. 

Additional Qualifications
Financial analysts must have strong math skills and problem solving abilities are crucial qualifications. Self confidence, maturity and excellent communication skills are very important to such position as financial analysts must be able to work with others and present complex financial strategies as well as working on their own. A financial analyst must have the an excellent knowledge of the country’s economy (but not be limited to), tax laws concerning the country and money markets.

Finally, while the global diversification of investments increasing, businesses find it necessary to assign more financial analysts to cover foreign markets. Companies normally have the need of financial analysts that are specialised within one country or a region. This is because those analysts have the international experience and therefore, better knowledge and understanding of vital aspects such as the language, culture, business environment and the political conditions within the country or region.

Certification
Certifications in Norway Accountants are becoming increasingly common. The Charter Financial Analyst Institute (CFA) is also able to offer to financial analysts the CFA title. However, for this title, again the applicants must have a bachelor’s degree in related fields and four years of work experience. Additionally an applicant must also pass three exams; while they are obtaining work experience. These exams though, are not an easy goal to achieve. They involve many hours of self study, and cover many subjects such as corporate finance, economics, asset valuation, portfolio management, risk management and many other related subjects.

Therefore, to be a financial analyst is not an easy procedure. It requires many hours of work and study along with the stress and pressure gained during the working day. Many people starting this professional career but they can not afford the everyday pressure that this filed requires and quite. However, there are much more people who really get into it and they finally achieve getting the CFA.
